Ordering Questions
Is it safe to order from UpStart Auto Parts?
Yes it is! We work with companies who use industry standards for our credit card processing and payment gateways. Click here for the full outline of our Privacy/Security Policy.
What types of payments do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We also accept payment through PayPal! Sorry, we do not accept Personal or Business Checks, money orders or cashier's checks. Exceptions may be made on purchases over $5,000. Please contact customer service for more information.
* Some useful info and checkout tips: In the checkout page, enter your credit card number without spaces or dashes. For the expiration date, please enter month and year (MMYY). For example, if your credit card expiration date is May 2020, enter 0520. If you have any problems, please send us an email. One of our friendly customer service representatives will respond to you as quickly as possible.
Can we be invoiced instead of using a credit card?
Currently, we only offer that payment option to some Government and large institutions when the purchase amount is too large to pre-pay with a credit card. Restrictions may apply, so please contact us at 701-214-4080 ext. 803 to inquire.
How can I place a phone order?
To place a phone order, please call Customer Service at 701-214-4080. Customer Service hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm Central Time (CT), and 9:30 am - 12:30 pm Central Time (CT) on Friday. Our phone lines are closed weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and National Holidays. Even though we are happy to help, we recommend placing your order online for faster service.
Do you accept international orders?
Currently, we are not able to accept international orders. Please check back frequently as we are continuously updating our website features.
Returns
What is your Return Policy?
Some items are marked Clearance - Final Sale. Those items are not eligible for return. For our full, outlined Return Policy, please visit our Return Policy page. To keep our costs low, we are unable to provide free return shipping.
What is your Exchange Policy?

When will I receive credit for my return?
The time it takes for your refund to appear on your credit card account varies depending on your credit card type and when the item was received at our warehouse. Please allow one to two billing cycles for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.
Does UpStart Auto Parts handle warranties?
Any warranties offered are handled directly by the manufacturer unless otherwise stated on the product page. Visit our Return Policy page for more information.
Coupons/Discounts
How do I use a coupon or discount code?
If you have a coupon (lucky you!) from UpStart Auto Parts that you would like to redeem, please enter the coupon code in the "Coupon Code" box in the checkout page.
Shipping
How much is shipping?
Shipping depends on various factors such as your shipping location and the weight of your total order. There is a real-time freight estimator in the shopping cart, which returns pricing from US Postal Service and FedEx. Just enter your shipping zip code, and our magic freight calculator will calculate your rate!
What are my shipping options?
Ordering an item from UpStart Auto Parts? We can ship to virtually any address in the United States. Note that there are shipping restrictions on some products and therefore cannot be shipped outside the US 48 contiguous states. Please be sure to read product descriptions to review any shipping restrictions. UpStart Auto Parts uses US Postal Service, FedEx, and discount shippers exclusively to ship items unless otherwise specified under product descriptions, when items are purchased in bulk, or when US Postal Service or FedEx cannot be used for other reasons. Tax
Am I required to pay Sales Tax?
Yes, it's based on your "Ship To" address.
How much is Sales Tax?
By law, sales tax is automatically computed on product charges. To see the total sales tax that will be charged on your order, click on the "checkout" button. This will not complete your order; it will only display your order summary. The order summary shows what your order will look like, including how much tax will be charged.
Order Status
How can I check the status of my order?
To check the status of your order, please log into your account and click on the View Order History link.
What if I need to cancel my order?
When you submitted your order, it is quickly routed to our warehouse for immediate processing. If your cancellation request is made before the item is processed, your order may be cancelled. However, UpStart Auto Parts cannot guarantee cancellation. To request an order cancellation, please contact us immediately. Your best bet is to send us an email.

Product/Stock
What if a product says its out of stock?
Occasionally, items may be out of stock at our warehouse locations. If you need the product now or a quantity higher than what we have available, contact us and we can sometimes ship direct from the manufacture warehouse.
Are our products new or refurbished?
All our products are new unless otherwise noted.

How do I sign up for a new account?

Damaged Shipment
What happens if a product is damaged during shipment?
If the product is damaged during transit reject the delivery with US Postal Service, FedEx, or other carrier and notify us immediately. The carrier will then send the package back to our warehouse, and we will ship out a new product to you.
